Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Date is Finally Here!
The highly-acclaimed puzzle game, Botany Manor, finally has a PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 release date: January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for December 17th, 2024, the release was delayed to allow for further polishing to ensure the best possible player experience.
Originally launched in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered critical praise, earning a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic with an 83/100 average score and a 92% recommendation rate. Its charming atmosphere, clever puzzles, and rewarding exploration captivated critics and players alike, establishing it as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024.
Developed by London-based Balloon Studios and published by Pennsylvania-based Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor invites players to cultivate magical plants in the idyllic English countryside. The PlayStation port, announced earlier, was delayed but now has a confirmed launch date. While a PS Store page isn't yet live, players can anticipate its arrival soon.
The PlayStation version is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, the digital soundtrack is not anticipated to be available on PlayStation.
Botany Manor Enhances PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup
With its release on PlayStation, Botany Manor will complete its initial cross-platform launch across all announced consoles. Balloon Studios hasn't yet announced their next project. Joining Botany Manor on the PlayStation Store on January 28th are other notable titles including the roguelite Cuisineer, action RPG Eternal Strands, and tactical stealth game The Sone of Madness. The addition of Botany Manor significantly strengthens the PlayStation's already impressive collection of puzzle games.
