The Guardians of the Road project has been relaunched with a significantly improved app, offering a more convenient and user-friendly experience. Join the Road Guard project and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road – the road of all of us" project aims to raise awareness and deter unsafe driving. As of January 1, 2023, the project is managed by the Safe Path association.

Citizens aged 18 and over can download the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations. Operation is simple and quick: activate the app before driving, and when you witness a violation, initiate the reporting feature. Reporting is easily activated via voice command or by pressing a Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then record video and audio documenting the offense.

These recordings are sent to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer controllers. After review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the driver, including a link to the recorded video. In cases of serious or life-threatening violations, reports are forwarded directly to the police.
