What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
"Haikyu!!" is an animated series inspired by Haruichi Furudate's youth sports manga, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. Set in the world of high school volleyball, the story follows Karasuno High School, once known as a "fallen powerhouse" or "flightless crow," as they strive to reclaim their position at the "top." The narrative unfolds through the passion and determination of the protagonist, Shoyo Hinata, who is captivated by volleyball, alongside a cast of distinctive characters. In August 2022, it was announced that a two-part theatrical sequel to the anime would be produced.
