How to Play 101 Çanak Okey
The 101 Çanak Okey offline game is designed for 4 players. The game pieces come in four colors—Red, Black, Yellow, and Blue—and are numbered from 1 to 13. Additionally, there are two fake Okeys in the game, making a total of 106 stones.
At the start of the game, all stones are shuffled and automatically distributed to the players. The player next to the dealer receives 22 stones, while the others get 21. Players then organize their stones into pairs or sequences based on their cues.
The stones not distributed remain in the middle of the table, with one stone turned face-up to serve as the indicator stone. The stone matching the color and number of the indicator stone becomes the Okey stone, which can substitute for any stone in the game.
If a player finishes the game by discarding an Okey stone, their points are doubled. In normal gameplay, players arrange their stones into at least three-piece sequences or sets. Sequences are formed by lining up stones of the same color in numerical order, while sets are formed by grouping stones of the same number but different colors.
To finish the game, a player must arrange all their stones into pairs and, upon achieving seven pairs, drag the last stone to the center of the table. A normal finish, where the last discarded stone is not an Okey, results in a deduction of 101 points from the player's score.
