UPGRADES
This game is primarily free-to-play, but you can enhance your experience with upgrades. Choose your side and starting territory to tailor your gameplay. Unleash your creativity with fantasy battles between any two cultures, with as many warriors as your device can support. You can even customize every character in the game, but be aware that the game utilizes up to 1,000 characters, which are frequently updated.
CONTROLS
When you're in control of a specific character, you can opt for the "Classic" one-handed control system or the "Dual Wield" method, where each hand is controlled independently. If you're new to these controls, you can pause the game at any time by hitting the dateline and review the "Controls" guide. Keep an eye out for in-game tips from scrolls or books that you can read for guidance.
Switch between team members seamlessly by tapping their health meter or pointing directly at them on the battlefield. Activate "Commander" mode by tapping the arrows at the screen's bottom, allowing you to direct any active team member by swiping from their current position to a new one. Whether you want them to move, engage an enemy, or pick up an item, they'll follow your commands as best they can, though their actions may be influenced by other priorities.
No matter your device or control preference, you can always zoom in or out by pinching the center of the screen.
MAP
In the main "Campaign" mode, expand your empire by moving units between connected areas. You can either fortify your current territories or attempt to conquer rival ones. Remember, only 50% of the units in a territory are available for movement, making invasions more challenging than defense.
Territory populations can grow after each round, so it's crucial to control as many territories as possible. Units will also heal over time, making it beneficial to rotate your focus across different locations each turn.
PERFORMANCE
This is my most ambitious game yet, and it may require a high-end device to run smoothly at full capacity. To optimize performance, you can lower the "Population" setting to reduce the number of on-screen characters or adjust other features in the "Display" options.
