Permissions Required for Optimal Functionality
To ensure ØstfoldReise works at its best, the app requires access to certain features on your device. You can disable these permissions in your phone's settings, but doing so may limit some of the app's capabilities.
- Location: This allows the app to pinpoint your current position, display nearby stops, show your location on the map, sort search results by proximity, and find transport options to and from your current location. You can still search for stops and addresses with location services turned off.
- Mobile Data: An internet connection is necessary to access all app services. If mobile data is disabled, you'll need to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
- Calendars: Access to your calendar is required if you choose to add a journey to it.
