This popular Middle Eastern card game, known as Pasur (پاسور), also goes by the names Chahar Barg (چهار برگ), Haft Khaj (هفت خاج), or Haft Va Chahar, Yazdah (7+4=11). Its Persian origins are clear, with gameplay mechanics closely resembling Italian Cassino or Scopa, and even more so, the Egyptian game of Bastra. Pasur is a fishing card game, prevalent in Iran, where players aim to collect specific card combinations, notably the seven of clubs, within a system of four-card hands. The number eleven holds particular significance in the game's scoring.
