Word Games Assistant (Lexulous, Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordfeud)
Duplikat makes it fun to sharpen your skills for all those word games where you combine letters to build crosswords.
At the start of a game, the app shows 7 letters drawn from the "bag." You then try to find the highest-scoring word and place it on the board. Once you’ve decided—or when the thinking time ends in a timed game—you tap "Validate" to submit your move. Then the app reveals the "max score": the word that would earn the highest points in that context, and shows it on the board. You only score the points for the word you actually found. The app then draws new letters from the bag and the game continues.
Through the first 15 moves, there must be at least two vowels and two consonants; from move 16 onward, at least one vowel and one consonant. If the seven chosen letters don’t meet these rules, they go back into the bag and seven new ones are picked. The game ends if no more consonants or vowels remain in the bag.
- The app includes a handful of prepared games that you can replay fully. You can also start random games and play up to the 8th move. With Duplikat Pro, this limit is removed and you can continue to the end.
- Any game can be saved for later replay or emailed (in CSV or TXT format).
- Multiple dictionaries are supported: French, English, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, and Romanian. The app itself is translated into all these languages.
- Several board styles are available: Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordfeud, Lexulous.
