The state of Uttar Pradesh has launched a groundbreaking initiative in public health service management with the introduction of the eKavach app. Designed specifically for frontline health workers such as ASHA workers, ANM, ASHA Sangini, and Community Health Officers (CHOs), this app is a pivotal tool in enhancing the delivery of comprehensive primary health care (CPHC). Developed by the National Health Mission (NHM) of Uttar Pradesh, eKavach leverages the robust, open-source, and DPG Certified platform, MEDPlat, provided by Argusoft. This innovative application streamlines the entire workflow and referral processes for a wide array of health services, including Family Folder, Reproductive, Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMCH+), Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), Nutrition, and more, ensuring seamless integration and management of public health services across the state.
