In 2017 A.D., the organization Chaldea, responsible for monitoring Earth's future, detected that human history was set to be eradicated in 2019. Mysteriously, the future promised for 2017 vanished without a trace. Questions abounded: Why? How? Who? By what means?
The year was 2004 A.D. in a certain provincial town in Japan when, for the first time, a region became unobservable. Suspecting this anomaly as the cause of humanity's impending extinction, Chaldea embarked on its sixth experiment: time travel to the past. This involved a forbidden ritual where humans were transformed into Spiritrons and sent back in time. Their mission was to intervene in historical events, locate, identify, and destroy space-time Singularities.
The mission is classified as an order to protect Humanity: Grand Order. This is the title bestowed upon those who stand against the tide of human history and battle fate to safeguard mankind.
