To enjoy the delightful chaos of Frantics™ on your PlayStation®4, you'll need the Frantics™ Companion App. This app transforms your smartphone or tablet into a controller, allowing you to dive into a world of quirky mini-games with up to four players. Whether you're brawling in arenas or racing in wacky competitions, the charmingly unfair fox host will guide you through the fun, offering chances to sabotage your rivals—or get sabotaged yourself!

Using the app is a breeze: simply shake, tilt, swipe, and snap your way through the games. You can even receive secret missions from the Fox via text or call, adding an extra layer of strategy to your gameplay. To get started, ensure your PS4™ console is on the same Wi-Fi network as your device, and follow the in-app instructions to connect.

With the Frantics™ Companion App, you can:

• Choose your animal avatar and shake your device to randomize it.
• Snap a selfie to identify yourself in the game.
• Play fair or foul in mini-games using your own screen.
• Receive texts and calls from the Fox to gain a competitive edge.

The app supports multiple languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Greek, Czech, Hungarian, Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Mexican Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese, ensuring a global audience can join the fun.

As of December 14, 2023, there's an important update regarding the availability of companion apps for PlayLink games, including Frantics. For Android users, if you've already downloaded the app or have it in your library, you can continue playing. However, the app is no longer available for download on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11. Apple iOS users, on the other hand, can still download and use the app regardless of their iOS version.
