Setting Up Your Sensor
Before activating your Sensor, decide whether you want to use your smartphone or the FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader for glucose readings and alarms. Remember, you can only use one device at a time for these functions:
- Using Your Smartphone: Start the Sensor using the FreeStyle Libre 2 app to receive glucose readings and alarms on your phone.
- Using the FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader: Start the Sensor with the Reader if you prefer to receive readings and alarms on the Reader.
Please be aware that the app and Reader do not share data with each other. To ensure comprehensive data on a single device, scan your Sensor every 8 hours with that device. You can also upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
