About the Hazari Game:
Hazari is a dynamic four-player card game played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt 13 cards, and the objective is to arrange them from highest to lowest. Once a player has organized their hand, they signal they are "up," and the game begins with the player to the right of the dealer.
The gameplay revolves around players throwing cards in turns, with the highest card value taking the round and all the cards played. The winning player then throws the next set of cards. Points are calculated at the end of each round, with cards from Ace (A) to 10 valued at 10 points, and cards from 9 to 2 at 5 points. The ultimate goal is to accumulate 1000 points across multiple games.
In case of a tie, the subsequent player's card trumps the previous one. For instance, if Player 1 plays AKQ of Hearts, and Player 2 follows with 678 of Spades, Player 3 with AKQ of Diamonds would win the round, taking all the cards.
Rules of Card Ranking:
- Troy: Three of a kind, such as AAA, KKK, QQQ, down to 222.
- Color Run: Three consecutive cards of the same suit, like AKQ of Spades, A23 of Hearts, down to 432 of Clubs.
- Run: Three consecutive cards of any suit, such as AKQ or A23 of mixed suits.
- Color: Any three cards of the same suit, with the highest card determining the winner, e.g., K83 of Spades versus K92 of Spades.
- Pair: Two cards of the same rank with a third card, like 443 or 99J, with AAK being the highest and 223 the lowest.
- Indi or Individuals: Any three cards not fitting into the above categories, with the highest card deciding the winner.
How to Play:
Players start by arranging their 13 cards into sets of 3, 3, 3, and 4. The game begins with one player throwing their first set of three cards, followed by the others doing the same. The player with the highest value set takes all the cards and leads the next round. This continues until the final set of four cards is played, and the game goes on until a player reaches the coveted 1000 points.
