I've been using the Kindle since its earliest model, and I find it superior to traditional reading methods. It has actually encouraged me to read more than I would with paper books. The use of e-ink technology means it's readable in virtually any lighting condition, mimicking the look of actual paper pages. Additionally, the Kindle's energy efficiency is impressive; it only uses power when you turn the page, use the backlight, or keep Wi-Fi on. In Airplane mode, it can last weeks or even months between charges, which is a huge plus for avid readers like me.
