How to Play
Ludo is a classic dice and race game played with four pieces per player and a set of dice. Naija Ludo currently supports two players, each controlling eight pieces across two houses. The objective is to move all eight pieces home before your opponent.
Movement of Pieces
The game starts with the player in the red house. To bring a piece out of the house, a player must roll a 6. Once on the track, pieces can move with any dice outcome. The track consists of 56 steps, from home to the center of the board. A piece can be removed either by completing the 56 steps or by capturing an opponent's piece.
Piece Capture
Capturing occurs when a player's piece lands on a block occupied by an opponent's piece. The captured piece is returned to its home, while the capturing piece is removed from the board. The key to winning is to capture as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while avoiding being captured. Note that a piece cannot capture if the remaining dice outcome cannot be used.
Important Notes
- A player can roll the dice consecutively if each roll results in a 6.
- The outcome of the dice must be played before rolling again, regardless of the result.
- For a smoother and faster game, enable 'DIRECT COUNT' in the settings.
