Sony has unveiled an exciting array of titles for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, catering to a diverse range of gaming preferences. The announcement, detailed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post, highlights a total of six new games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, set to launch on May 20, 2025.
Subscribers at the Extra tier will have access to nine thrilling titles. The spotlight shines on "Sand Land," an action RPG based on the acclaimed Akira Toriyama manga, available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable additions include "Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition" and the comprehensive "S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy." The latter's Enhanced Edition, announced for PS5 alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, is also slated for a May 20 release. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain whether this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
For PlayStation Plus Premium members, a nostalgic treat awaits with "Battle Engine Aquila," a classic sci-fi action game playable on both PS4 and PS5. In this title, players take control of a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground.
