Albion Online's first major update of 2025, dubbed the Rogue Frontier, has arrived, embracing the theme of living on the edge. This update introduces a new faction, innovative trading methods, and exciting new weapons, allowing players to immerse themselves in an underground network of outcasts who play by their own rules.

The Smugglers are the quintessential rebels and misfits who have grown weary of the Royal Continent's stringent rules. They've established their presence in the lawless wilds, setting up hidden hideouts known as Smuggler's Dens. These dens serve as bases where you can stash your loot, engage in various illicit activities, and utilize amenities like banks, repair stations, and travel planners to keep you on the move. The Smugglers' Network is a new trading system that revolutionizes how goods are moved within the Outlands, bypassing the usual taxes and bureaucratic hurdles of the Royal Continent, albeit at a cost to the Smugglers.
The Smugglers have formed a full-fledged Faction, offering missions for players to prove their loyalty. These missions might involve tracking down and recovering stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons or rescuing captured Smugglers from the Royal Guards. Completing these tasks rewards you with Smuggler’s Coins, which can be used to enhance your standing within the faction's ranks.
Let’s Look Beyond the Smuggler Action
Beyond the Smuggler-centric features, the Rogue Frontier Update introduces several eagerly awaited enhancements to Albion Online. The new Bank Overview feature allows you to track the location of your items across the game world, eliminating the hassle of remembering where you stored that rare loot. For PvP enthusiasts, Kill Trophies have been added, enabling you to immortalize your most memorable battles. The Albion Journal now includes a Creatures category, challenging players to document the diverse beasts that roam the wild.
The update also introduces three new Crystal Weapons tailored for explorers, traders, and fighters. To experience these new additions, head over to the Google Play Store and download Albion Online.
