ChillyRoom's highly anticipated action roguelike, Shadow of the Depth, is currently in open beta on Android. Players can jump in now, provide feedback, and retain their progress when the game officially launches later this year – there's no data wipe! This follows the success of ChillyRoom's previous titles, Soul Knight and Meow Hunter.
The open beta, launching in December 2024, is initially available in select regions: the U.S., Canada, Brazil, UK, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. Players in these regions can download the free beta. A global release is planned for later this year.
Early access players receive a bonus of 200 diamonds, but this offer ends December 5th.
Set in a medieval world, Shadow of the Depth casts players as Arthur, a blacksmith's son seeking revenge after a monstrous attack on his village. Arthur, joined by swordsmen, hunters, and mages, delves into a monster-infested abyss. Gameplay involves dungeon crawling, combat, trap avoidance, and boss battles. With over 140 passive skills and a customizable talent system, players can tailor their experience. The game features single-player mode with controller support.
Download the open beta or pre-register on the Google Play Store. Also, check out our coverage of the fantasy turn-based RPG, Grimguard Tactics, on Android.
