Top Spring 2025 Anime Recommendations
My spotlight for Spring 2025 includes ***The Apothecary Diaries, Once Upon A Witch’s Death, The Beginning After The End, To Be Hero X***, and ***WITCH WATCH***. These series are expected to captivate audiences with their unique storytelling and vibrant animation. However, there are several other titles worth adding to your watch list.
***Devil May Cry***, the latest animated adaptation of the popular video game series, is set to premiere on Netflix. With a trailer featuring Limp Bizkit and a new Evanescence track, it promises to deliver the edgy, action-packed experience fans crave. Directed by Adi Shankar, who previously worked on *Castlevania* and *Guardians of Justice*, and animated by Studio Mir, known for *Avatar: The Last Airbender*, this series is poised to be a hit among fans of anime like *Trigun* and action-packed video game adaptations.
Another intriguing series is ***Moonrise***, a Netflix original that explores the concept of the moon fighting for independence. With animation from WIT Studio, character designs by Hiromu Arakawa, and direction by Masashi Koizuka, this series is expected to be visually stunning and narratively compelling, despite the limited information currently available.
Lastly, ***YAIBA: Samurai Legends*** is set to make a comeback on Netflix. This adaptation of the manga by Gosho Aoyama, famous for *Case Closed*, promises a blend of samurai action and comedy. With Aoyama directly involved in the production and WIT Studio at the helm, this series is a must-watch for fans of classic manga and anime.
