How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE
After numerous trials, we've cracked the code to unlock all three Arata stages in GHOUL://RE. While these stages don't demand high gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do require significant Reputation grinding. And we mean a lot!
Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To start, you need to amass 25,000 Reputation points and reach the rank of Special Investigator within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the Commission of Counter Ghoul (C.C.G. center) and find Damiro D. Mado on the second floor. He'll initiate the Arata Stage 1 quest, tasking you with collecting 10 one-eyed fragments and 10 Kokuja fragments.
The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses like Eto and Tatara, and then crafting them at a crafting table. To check your Reputation, speak with Saiyo Natsuki, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have all 20 fragments, convert them into five one-eyed Kokuja fragments at the crafting station. If you struggle with bosses, our GHOUL://RE Boss and Raid guide can help you conquer them.
Return to Damiro, who will then direct you to speak with "him". This caused confusion in the GHOUL://RE community, but "he" is none other than Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, hiding in plain sight. For help locating NPCs, refer to our guide on all NPC locations in GHOUL://RE.
Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
For Arata stages 2 and 3, you must play in permadeath (PD) mode to obtain the legendary armor. It's advisable to team up with strong allies, as solo missions can be frustrating.
Once you've earned 100,000 Reputation points, take the elevator in the C.C.G. building to the Laboratory. There, you'll meet Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, the man with the scalpel in a black suit by the door.
Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Stage 2 and acquire the Arata-Proto armor. Despite rumors suggesting lower Reputation requirements, our experience confirms that 100,000 Reputation points are necessary for guaranteed success.
Remember, you must play the second and third Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE on PD servers only. Failing to do so will result in repeated responses from the Black Reaper, preventing you from completing Arata Stage 2 and accessing Arata Stage 3.
Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE
The final Arata Stage also involves "The Scalpel Guy", a one-eyed Kakuja fragment, and 500,000 Yen. Like the second stage, you must be in PD mode to proceed.
Gather a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and save up 500,000 Yen. Visit Black Reaper of Doom And Despair in the C.C.G. building, pay him, and he will teleport you to face Kishou Arima boss.
To defeat Kishou Arima, you'll need at least average gaming skills, involving jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing significant damage. While challenging, with practice, even average players can triumph.
Be prepared for potential deaths during this encounter. Each retry requires another one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen. Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, be aware that while Arata armor provides powerful buffs, it also drains your hunger rapidly and prevents you from eating while equipped.
Arata Armor Tips & Tricks
Arata-Proto Armor Buffs
Arata armor is incredibly powerful but comes with a cost: it drains your hunger at an alarming rate and prevents you from eating while worn. To replenish hunger, you must remove the armor.
The benefits, however, are substantial. While wearing Arata, you cannot be ragdolled, a significant advantage in all game scenarios. Additionally, Arata enhances your character's durability, making you increasingly "tanky" and capable of both sustaining and dealing massive damage. If the armor depletes your hunger during combat, it will start consuming your health bar. Be cautious, especially in boss fights, and consider removing the armor if it becomes too risky.
Reputation Grinding
The fastest way to accumulate the required Reputation is by fighting bosses in PD mode. Each boss defeated in PD mode grants 1,500 Reputation, significantly more than the 500 earned outside PD. Killing Ghouls yields only 100 Reputation per kill, making them less efficient for grinding during Arata quests.
Congratulations! You're now equipped with the knowledge to conquer all Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE. Before you start your journey, don't forget to grab the latest GHOUL://RE codes to boost your gameplay from the start.
