Wang Yue, a fantasy ARPG, is gearing up for its technical testing phase, having recently secured the necessary publishing license in China. This initial test run will allow developers to identify bugs and gather player feedback before the official release.
A World Divided
The Wang Yue testing phase will introduce players to a world ravaged by a malevolent sun, leaving behind two floating continents defying gravity. Tian Yue City, a breathtaking inverted metropolis, hangs suspended in the sky above a desolate, ruined landscape. Players take on the role of Qing Wu, a mysterious character thrust into this bizarre reality after a betrayal. Qing Wu must unravel the secrets of the sun's newfound reverence, the upside-down city, and the shadowy figures seeking their demise.
Freedom of Choice
Wang Yue breaks free from traditional open-world conventions. Forget repetitive quests; this game prioritizes exploration and player agency. Soar through the skies above Tian Yue City or delve into the secrets hidden within the ruins below – the world dynamically responds to your actions. NPCs react realistically to your choices, from calling the authorities for disruptive behavior to rewarding helpful deeds.
The developers encourage player participation, planning discussions, design contests, and other activities to gather feedback and shape the game's development. Registration for the technical test is now open on the official website.
