NCSoft has made a surprising announcement regarding the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer MOBA game, Battle Crush. Despite not reaching its full, polished version, the game, which had a global test in August 2023 and an early access release in June 2024, is set to wind down just a few months after its early access launch.
When is the Battle Crush EOS?
Battle Crush will officially shut down on November 29th, 2024. The in-game shop has already ceased selling items. However, if you made purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, you are eligible for a refund. Android and Steam players can initiate their refund requests starting December 2nd, 2024, and the process will continue through January 2025. Be sure to download any content you wish to keep by November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible after that date.
The official Battle Crush website will remain active until May 30th, 2025, providing support for any last-minute needs. The game's social media accounts and Discord server will be discontinued on January 31st, 2025.
Does it Surprise You?
It's always disheartening when a game you've invested time and strategy into announces its shutdown. Battle Crush players are understandably feeling the impact of this EOS announcement. If you've been following the game closely, you might have noticed that it struggled with certain aspects of gameplay. The controls felt somewhat clunky, and the pacing could have been more refined. Although Battle Crush was enjoyable, it lacked that additional layer of polish that might have kept it going.
You can still experience Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before it shuts down completely. Alternatively, stay tuned for our next update on the Autumn Season featuring Story-Driven Quests in Black Desert Mobile.
