As part of the quest to attune the Points of Power, players must undertake the challenging task of generating and directing light beams to uncover the Paladin's Brooch. This step is crucial for progressing towards the Light Incantation and can be particularly challenging for newcomers. How To Generate & Direct Light Beams on Citadelle Des Morts
Locating The First Crystal & Directing The Light Beam
To initiate the process of revealing the Paladin's Brooch, players should head to the Dining Hall and look towards the north side, just above the Vulture-Aid. Here, they will find a crystal mounted on the north wall. By shooting the base of this crystal, players can deflect a light beam downward towards another crystal located above the entrance from the Entrance Hall to the Dining Hall.
To complete this step, players need to move to the second floor on the east side of the Dining Hall and shoot the mirror again to deflect the light beam to the left. If executed correctly, the light beam will strike the second crystal, becoming noticeably brighter.
Directing The Light Beam of the Second Crystal
With the light beam now hitting the second crystal, the next task is to direct it towards another crystal positioned just above the Lion Knight. Players can achieve this by heading to the southwest corner of the second floor in the Dining Hall and shooting the base of the second crystal to deflect the beam towards the third.
Directing The Light Beam of the Third Crystal
The next phase involves redirecting the beam from the third crystal into the Alchemical Lab. Players should move to the north side of the Dining Hall, face the crystal, and shoot its base to guide the light into the Alchemical Lab.
Directing The Light Beam of the Fourth Crystal
Once the beam reaches the Alchemical Lab, players must direct it to another crystal mounted above the Arsenal Workbench within the same room. This can be accomplished by standing at the room's exit on the same side as the fourth crystal and shooting its base to redirect the beam towards the next crystal.
Revealing Paladin's Brooch
The final step involves directing the light beam from the last crystal to a table located just to the left of the entrance from the Alchemical Lab back to the Dining Hall. Players should position themselves near the area used to deflect the previous light beam and shoot the crystal's base to redirect it towards the table. Successfully completing this step will reveal the Paladin's Brooch on the table, allowing players to collect it and proceed to the next objective: initiating the Light Ritual inside the Dining Hall.
