Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude, released late March, has already surpassed 1 million downloads! To celebrate, SuperPlanet is partnering with the popular webcomic, "The Sound of Your Heart," for a hilarious crossover event.
For the uninitiated, "The Sound of Your Heart" is a long-running South Korean webtoon by Jo Seok, chronicling his chaotic life and eccentric family. Initially launched on Naver Webtoon in 2006, it boasts over 7 billion views and even received a Netflix adaptation.
The Crossover Characters:
This collaboration brings Jo Seok and his memorable cast to Boomerang RPG. Expect to see his formidable wife, Aebong; his lovable father-in-law, Jjaeddanyo; and his petal-shedding friend, Buuk Suh.
The event tasks players with rescuing Aebong, Jjaeddanyo, and Buuk Suh from a dungeon. Upon clearing the dungeon, they join your team. However, beware of Dark Aebong, Aebong's evil alter-ego and the final boss, whose animations are directly inspired by the comic's explosive scenes. Check out the teaser trailer below:
