Heads up: music streaming service Spotify experienced an outage this morning.
According to IGN's sister site Downdetector, reports of Spotify outages started around 6 a.m. PT and continued to flood in throughout the morning. We at IGN also faced difficulties accessing the service; when we managed to open the app, it wouldn't play music.
Spotify has acknowledged the issue and is "working to resolve it as soon as possible." The company has also debunked rumors that the outage was due to a security hack.
