The story follows The Penitent One, the sole survivor of a massacre, cursed by The Miracle and trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth. Throughout your journey, you'll collect relics, rosary beads, prayers, and sword hearts to enhance your abilities and stats. The game's distinctive art style, heavily influenced by religious iconography, creates a uniquely grim and haunting atmosphere.
