The much-anticipated Bug Out event is making its way back to Pokémon Go, offering players an exciting array of Bug-type Pokémon and introducing the debut of Sizzlipede and its evolved form, Centiskorch. Scheduled from March 26th to 30th, this event promises a thrilling experience filled with wild encounters, raids, bonuses, and new challenges that will keep you engaged throughout.
During the Bug Out event, Lure Modules will be pivotal. Not only will they attract Sizzlipede, but they will also increase the number of Pokémon appearing at a PokéStop if enough are caught using a single Lure Module. This feature enhances your chances of encountering a variety of Bug-type Pokémon.
In addition, you can earn double XP and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better, with an increased chance of obtaining Candy XL for trainers at level 31 and above. Shiny hunters will be thrilled with improved odds of encountering Shiny Wurmple and Shiny Venipede.
The wild will be bustling with Bug-types, featuring frequent appearances of Pokémon such as Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Nincada, Venipede, Dwebble, Joltik, Grubbin, Dewpider, and Nymble. Lucky trainers might even come across Cutiefly.
Sizzlipede will be available in one-star raids alongside Scyther and Nincada, while Beedrill, Scizor, and Kleavor will dominate the three-star raids. Completing event-themed Field Research tasks will reward you with Mega Energy, Scatterbug Candy, and encounters with event Pokémon.
Don't miss out on the free Timed Research, which offers encounters with Shedinja, Sizzlipede, Kleavor, and more, along with a Lure Module. For those seeking additional rewards, a Paid Timed Research option is available for $2 or its local equivalent, providing encounters with Heracross, Sizzlipede, and Kleavor, plus two Premium Battle Passes and an extra Lure Module.
