Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game
Gamescom Latam, the inaugural gaming event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards, presented in partnership with the BIG Festival.
The awards ceremony featured 13 categories, with finalists selected by a 49-judge panel. All nominees were playable at the Sao Paulo Expo, notably with mobile and PC games showcased together, highlighting the equal importance of both platforms.
The "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a title previously featured in an article highlighting lesser-known exceptional games. This win underscores the game's quality and growing recognition.

While "What the Car?" took home the top mobile prize, other deserving nominees included:
