
Castle Duels: Tower Defense has just dropped a massive update—version 3.0—and with it, global availability! Following a soft launch in select regions in June 2024, the game is now open to players worldwide. Update 3.0 brings a host of exciting new features, challenges, and adventures.
What’s New in Castle Duels: Tower Defense 3.0?
One of the biggest additions is the highly anticipated clan system. Finally, you can team up with other players, opening up a world of possibilities! Collaborate with your clanmates by trading units, sending rewards, and purchasing items from the clan store.
For PvP enthusiasts, training battles provide the perfect arena to hone your skills. Join or create a clan once you reach Arena 2.
Next up is the thrilling Clan Tournament! Clans of five battle it out, competing to complete daily quests the fastest for top prizes. This exciting competition unlocks at Arena 5.
Unit Tweaks and Name Changes
Several units have received significant updates, including name changes and ability adjustments. Raphael is now Angel, Knight of Light is Risen, and Forestlord is Woodbeard. Angel's role has been revamped from damage boosting to health restoration. Riding Hood is now a damage dealer with long-range attacks.
The Golem's ability range has been reduced to better suit its melee warrior role, while Fighter has transitioned to a defense role with a new opponent-repelling ability that also reduces incoming damage.
Visually, several units have received makeovers, particularly noticeable as they progress through the merge ranks. Pirate, Alchemist, Poison Frog, Combat Engineer, and Vampire all boast fresh new looks.
