How to Become a Shinigami in Hollow Era
Initially, you're a Soul Spirit. To become a Shinigami, accept the first quest offered by the NPC, Hurt Shinigami. She's desperately seeking aid. Choosing the Shinigami path is irreversible; you can't switch to Hollow unless you become a Visored (explained later). If you prefer the Hollow path, consult our Hollow progression guide.

The Shinigami/Hollow choice requires quick action. Choosing Hollow requires breaking your chain; if you choose Shinigami, the chain will slowly break automatically every two minutes. If you let it break completely, you'll become a Hollow. In that case, our resurrection moves list will be your Hollow endgame.
Hollow Era Shinigami Quests Guide
Your first quest involves purifying six Lost Souls. Subsequent quests, obtained from the NPC near Hurt Shinigami, might include delivering a letter to a doctor near the hospital.

These early quests are excellent for familiarizing yourself with your powers. Consider acquiring a $1,000 random power sword from a Urahara shop. For efficient travel across the large map, use the bus stop ($200) or purchase infinite fast travel (149 Robux) from the in-game shop.

Quests are marked with a red crosshair. Expect tasks like defeating Hollows, Corrupted Shinigami, and more, leading up to level 15. Quests include repeatable, progression-based, and path-specific (Vizard, Airwalk) tasks.

Full Soul Reaper Skill Tree and Reiatsu
Strategic skill point allocation is crucial for maximizing your Reiatsu. The Reiatsu Skill Tree offers powerful Kido abilities, exclusive to Shinigami.
Kido and Reiatsu nodes enhance Kido damage and maximum Reiatsu, respectively. Kido abilities include:
- Caja Negacion: A lightning beam. Combines with Electric for area-of-effect damage.
- Shakkaho: An explosive energy ball. Ragdoll ragdolls opponents; Fire sets them ablaze.
- Chain Bind: Energy chains pull enemies closer.
- Prison of Light: Immobilizes enemies with light rods.
- Thunder Sear: A slow-moving lightning ball that explodes on contact.
How to Get Shikai in Hollow Era
Reach level 15 to unlock the Shikai Training quest from Urihiro. Defeat Urahara Kisuke for 1700 exp and Shikai access. Note: This fight is challenging at level 15; consider reaching level 25+ for an easier time.

Unlocking Shikai grants a random powerful ability to your weapon. You can re-roll it at the Urahara Shop. Activate Shikai (default Y key) when your Rage Bar is full. Shikai ends when your Reiatsu is depleted or you release the Y key.
Hollow Era Shikai Mastering
Shikai Mastery Levels are determined by Mastery Points earned by using Shikai skills. Higher Mastery reduces Rage consumption and provides visual and power enhancements.
- Mastery Level 1 (1-149 Points): Transparent Aura
- Mastery Level 2 (150-299 Points): Brighter, particle-filled aura
- Mastery Level 3 (300-499 Points): Lightning boost
- Mastery Level 4 (500+ Points): Zone of flying stones
Becoming a Visored in the Hollow Era
Reaching level 50 unlocks the Vizard quest at the Vizard's Warehouse. Vizards blend Shinigami and Hollow powers. You'll need Hogyoku (1% drop rate from the King of Hueco Mundo) to break the barriers between Shinigami and Hollow.

Hollow Era Visored Mastering
Visored perks include Mask Control (reduces Hollow control) and the Visored node (extends mask usage and damage).

Visored Abilities in Hollow Era
- Hollow Mask: Allows on-command Hollow transformation.
- Cero: A powerful Reiatsu beam.
- Final Cero: A devastating overhead Cero attack.
- Vasto Rage: A temporary transformation into a powerful Hollow.
What About Hollow Era Bankai?
Bankai is currently unavailable but is expected in future updates.
Hollow Era Tips and Tricks
Use the lock-on button to target enemies, especially during lag. Learn to block attacks early on. Invest in the bus teleport for faster travel. Prioritize Strength and Speed skill points initially. Press and hold J (default) to reveal markers with your Reiatsu sense. While Hollows offer unique advantages, Shinigami is generally less grindy.

This concludes our *Hollow Era* Shinigami progression guide. Expect bugs and lag; utilize available codes to enhance your gameplay.
