When you confront Wakasa, she invites Naoe to her home for a private discussion. Upon entering, you'll notice a kasa (straw hat) on her wall, the same one she wore during the prologue as the Onryo, confirming your choice.
After some dialogue, Naoe can end the mission quickly by taking Wakasa's Teppo from the wall and shooting her at point-blank range. This method provides a swift and satisfying conclusion to the mission.

What If You Confront Otama in Assassin’s Creed Shadows?
