Century Games, the creators of the popular mobile game Whiteout Survival, have quietly soft-launched a new strategy game: Crown of Bones. This casual strategy title casts players as a Skeleton King commanding an army of skeletal minions.
The gameplay involves leading your bony brigade, upgrading their abilities, and battling mortal foes across diverse environments, from lush farmlands to scorching deserts. Similar to Whiteout Survival, Crown of Bones boasts a family-friendly aesthetic with charming, non-threatening visuals. A core element of the game revolves around upgrades, collectible items, and progressively challenging levels, further enhanced by competitive leaderboards where players can test their skills against friends and other players.

While details are still emerging, Crown of Bones appears to draw inspiration from other established strategy games, a strategy that clearly worked for Whiteout Survival. The success of their previous title, a casual take on cold survival mechanics reminiscent of Frostpunk, sets high expectations for Crown of Bones. Only time will tell if this new release will achieve similar success and potentially become Century Games' new flagship title. For now, it's available in soft launch in several regions, including the US and Europe.
