Finnish game studio Kuuasema unveils Cthulhu Keeper, a darkly humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's works and the iconic Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, this title promises a unique blend of classic dungeon-building and Lovecraftian horror.
Players will cultivate their own sinister cult, spreading fear and chaos throughout the 1920s setting. Building a sprawling lair, researching forbidden arts, and summoning Lovecraftian monstrosities are key elements of gameplay. Expansion involves recruiting cultists, engaging in street-level recruitment, and achieving various objectives. Naturally, rival cults and the authorities will pose a threat, necessitating the strategic deployment of traps and spells to defend the lair.
