The Currency Exchange in Path of Exile 2 is a pivotal feature, allowing players to convert their Currencies into higher-tier ones for trading with others or using them as Crafting materials. Despite its significance in maintaining a robust Currency collection, understanding the current Currency Exchange rates can be challenging due to their constant fluctuation based on market dynamics. The most reliable method to ascertain the current rates for each Currency combination is by checking them in-game.
How To Check Currency Exchange Rates In PoE 2
To access the Currency Exchange, speak to the gambling vendor in any Act after reaching Cruel Difficulty. Once in the Currency Exchange menu, you'll see two boxes designated for Currencies.
Start by clicking the left box to select the Currency you're interested in acquiring or the one you wish to exchange your owned Currencies for. For instance, if you want to check the current price of a Divine Orb, click the left item tab and choose Divine Orb from the list.
Next, click the right item tab on the Currency Exchange menu to view a list of your available Currencies across your Inventory and Stashes. To continue the example, if you're checking the price of a Divine Orb in Exalted Orbs, select Exalted Orb from the list of available Currencies in your Stash.
The conversion ratio of your selected Currencies will be displayed between the item selection boxes. For example, to acquire a Divine Orb with Exalted Orbs, you'll need to pay the number of Exalted Orbs shown on the right-hand side of the ratio.
This process works in reverse as well. If you possess a Divine Orb and want to convert it into Exalted Orbs, you would select Exalted Orb from the "Want" list and choose your Divine Orb from the "Have" list.
Given that the Currency Exchange rates are constantly updating, the conversion value between different Currencies can change significantly within a short period. It's advisable to check back regularly while playing to seize opportunities for favorable exchanges on powerful Currency items.
If a specific Currency combination isn't available (like Divine Orb for Scrolls of Wisdom), no ratio will be displayed, and the exchange will not be possible.
