Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a crossover many anticipated. While the collaboration proved popular, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked debate among fans. Speculation ran rampant, analyzing CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's loremaster and decision-maker for the Fortnite collaboration, clarified the situation. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny already a male character, selecting the female V was a logical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.

Therefore, no grand conspiracy existed; it was simply a practical decision. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the earlier inclusion of John Wick.
