While DC has ventured into Hush-related narratives in the past, "Batman: Hush 2" marks a significant return to the original creative team. The sequel reunites writer Jeph Loeb with artist Jim Lee, alongside inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings, promising a seamless continuation of the beloved saga.
Building upon the recent epilogue featured in the "Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition," Hush 2 delves into a new mystery. Batman discovers evidence that his childhood friend Tommy Elliot, known as Hush, survived their last confrontation. This revelation sets the stage for Hush to manipulate Batman's circle of allies and enemies, adding layers of intrigue and tension to the narrative.
The "Batman: Hush 2" storyline will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue, #158, set to hit stores on March 26. Following the conclusion of Hush 2, DC plans to relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, ushering in a new era for the Dark Knight under the creative direction of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
