Dead Cells Mobile's final free content updates delayed, but with a confirmed release date!
The much-anticipated final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been delayed, but will now arrive simultaneously on February 18th, 2025, for both Android and iOS. This news comes from developer Playdigious.
These updates, already released on PC and consoles, bring a wealth of new content to the popular roguelike. "Clean Cut" introduces two exciting new weapons: the survival-oriented Sewing Scissors and the brutality-focused Giant Comb. A new NPC, the Tailor's Daughter, allows players to customize their character's appearance.
"The End is Near" lives up to its name by adding challenging new enemies – the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer – alongside fresh skills and colorless mutations. One notable mutation, Demonic Strength, significantly boosts damage when cursed.
Playdigious has consistently delivered substantial free content for Dead Cells. While the end of these free updates has been met with some disappointment (allowing the studio to focus on other projects), their dedication to expanding the mobile version is undeniable.
