NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run on Android, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operation.
This 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival game, a mobile port of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, launched globally on Android in April 2020 (following its June 2016 PC debut). Dead by Daylight Mobile offered players the thrilling experience of playing as either a Killer, sacrificing Survivors to The Entity, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.
Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:
The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.
NetEase will process refunds according to regional laws; further details on this process will be released on January 16th, 2025.
Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted for in-game purchases or accumulated XP on the mobile platform.
Before the servers go dark, download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store and experience the chilling gameplay for yourself. Also, check out our latest article on Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
