Destiny Child is returning! Originally launched in 2016 and archived in September 2023, this beloved title is getting a fresh start under Com2uS, taking over development from ShiftUp.
A Brand New Game?
Com2uS and ShiftUp have partnered to create a completely new Destiny Child experience – an idle RPG. Development is spearheaded by Com2uS subsidiary, Tiki Taka Studio, known for their work on the tactical RPG, Arcana Tactics.
While retaining the charm of the original, including its captivating 2D characters and emotional core, Com2uS promises a reimagined gameplay experience with unique mechanics.
Remember the Memorial?
Destiny Child's initial release was a sensation, praised for its delightful characters and real-time combat. Following its closure after almost seven years, ShiftUp released a memorial version, allowing players a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
While not a fully functional game, the memorial app allows players to revisit the stunning character artwork and fondly remember their cherished Childs. Access requires verification using previous account data, limiting access to those who played before the shutdown. It’s a bittersweet farewell, preserving the characters and their classes, even if battling is no longer possible. Download it from the Google Play Store and relive the memories until the new game arrives.
