Rejoice, dinosaur-hunting survival horror fans! GOG has resurrected Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, bringing these PlayStation cult classics to PC in DRM-free glory. Both games, part of GOG's Preservation Program, are available now with their original content intact.
Originally released on PlayStation in 1999 and 2000 respectively, these titles have remained elusive for modern PC gamers. While Dino Crisis 3 launched on Xbox in 2003, the series has remained dormant despite fan calls for a new entry or HD remake. Capcom's 2022 release of Exoprimal, and comments from series creator Shinji Mikami, seemed to dash hopes for a revival.
However, GOG's release is a welcome surprise, offering improved compatibility and enhanced features. These PC ports, previously difficult to run on modern systems, have been meticulously overhauled.
