Where To Find Captain Henqua’s Spoils Treasure Map in Avowed
To get your hands on Captain Henqua’s Spoils treasure map, make your way to the lighthouse located in the western part of Calviger’s Landing. Once you arrive in The Living Lands, head south on the map to reach this region, then continue west to the lighthouse.
Climb up the lighthouse using the surrounding ledges and scaffolding, taking care with each step around the structure's exterior. Your efforts will be rewarded at the top, where you'll find the treasure map waiting for you.

Where To Find Captain Henqua’s Spoils in Avowed
With the treasure map in your possession, the next step is to locate Captain Henqua’s Spoils. Descend from the lighthouse and make your way to the nearby river. Follow the river north until you come across a broken bridge, located just northeast of the Old Pargrun Wall and near the Western Pargrun Wall Beacon fast travel point.
Continue to the southern end of the broken bridge, then descend to the river bed. Start swimming westward towards an opening that leads into a cave. Once inside the cave and back on solid ground, you'll discover a chest containing the treasure: the unique Wind and Wave shield.
What Does the Wind and Wave Shield Do in Avowed?
Equipping the Wind and Wave shield provides two significant benefits to your character: a 10% increase in movement speed and a 20% boost in resistance to Frost Accumulation. As a Superb Quality item, this shield outperforms others you might find in Dawnshore's starting area. With the right materials, such as Glasswood Branches and Adra Ban, you can even upgrade it to Legendary quality, enhancing its power even further.
