Monster Hunter Now's Season 4: A Snowy Adventure Awaits!
Niantic has unleashed Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transporting players to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy challenges and exciting new additions to keep the hunt thrilling, even with virtual frostbite!
What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?
This season introduces a frosty tundra habitat, complete with biting winds, deep snowdrifts, and a host of formidable monsters. Making their debut are Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites include Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos. Tigrex will be a major player in Hunt-a-thons and may even make surprise appearances in the field. Unlock these powerful creatures by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra unlocks after finishing the prologue.
A powerful new weapon joins the arsenal: the Switch Axe. This versatile weapon seamlessly transitions between Axe Mode for powerful, wide-ranging attacks and Sword Mode for devastating close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.
Season 4 introduces Palico companions, customizable furry friends to aid in material gathering and monster scouting. Tailor their fur color, facial features, and even give them a unique name. AR functionality allows you to bring your custom Palico into the real world for memorable photos.
Adding a social element, Friend Cheering lets you support fellow hunters. Send cheers to your friends for a temporary health boost, though there's a daily limit to the health bonus.
