The game features multiple worlds, each presenting unique challenges blending battle, action, and rhythm-based gameplay. Players can create and customize their own character to fight alongside their favorite Disney icons. Gameplay blends auto-battling with opportunities for direct control during key moments. The narrative centers on combating strange programs plaguing the pixelated Disney worlds.
