Developer Dream Dock has unveiled Dreadmoor, a thrilling new first-person single-player action-adventure game that draws inspiration from the acclaimed 2023 title, Dredge. In Dreadmoor, players will take the helm of a fishing trawler and navigate the treacherous waters of the post-apocalyptic Drownlands. The game is currently in development for PC, and you can get a sneak peek through the announcement trailer and a gallery of the first screenshots below.
Dream Dock describes Dreadmoor as an immersive journey into a world reshaped by a global nuclear war. Continents have vanished beneath the waves, leaving behind a landscape of scattered islands and the submerged ruins of ancient civilizations. Players will sell their catch to survivors, undertake quests, and strive for survival. They must also keep a vigilant eye on their ship's cargo hold, where creatures may engage in predatory behavior. Upgrading the ship and crafting essential equipment will be key to exploring hidden depths and secret locations, where mutated creatures and sinister mysteries await, particularly at night. The threat of radiation adds an extra layer of danger to the exploration.

In Dreadmoor, players will encounter over 100 species of fish, with the most challenging catches requiring unique bait but offering substantial rewards. Scavenging for resources and exploring both above and below the surface will be crucial. If Dreadmoor piques your interest, you can wishlist it on Steam to stay updated on its development progress.
