Dive into the newly released Android game, Dwarfs in Exile, a captivating text-based multiplayer management game crafted by an indie developer. Previously a browser-based title, it's now exclusively available on the Google Play Store.
What's the Story?
Banished by the Dwarven King to the forbidden lands, you find yourself leading a group of grumpy dwarves, tasked with building a thriving settlement in a perilous environment. You'll manage every aspect of your dwarven community, assigning work, gathering resources, crafting tools, and expanding your settlement to accommodate more residents. But be warned: a full settlement prevents new dwarves from joining, even after completing rewarding quests.
Each dwarf possesses unique stats (perception, strength, etc.) influencing their job performance. Strategic pairing of dwarves and equipment is crucial for maximizing productivity. The game features a robust occupation system, allowing you to assign dwarves as miners, crafters, and more. You can even mentor child dwarves to accelerate their skill development, though remember they won't contribute until they reach adulthood (age 20).
How Do You Get More Dwarves?
Expand your dwarven community by completing quests or hiring new recruits using in-game coins. Maintaining sufficient food supplies is vital to prevent starvation, and deceased dwarves conveniently return their equipment to your inventory.
Dwarfs in Exile offers a rich and engaging management experience. If this sounds like your cup of tea, head over to the Google Play Store and give it a try.
