ETE Chronicle:Re JP Server Pre-Registration is LIVE! Prepare for airborne, aquatic, and terrestrial battles alongside a squad of powerful female characters.
ETE Chronicle's initial Japanese launch faced criticism due to its unexpected turn-based gameplay, diverging from anticipated mecha action. However, the developers responded by completely overhauling the game for its Chinese release, creating a true action title. This revamped version, ETE Chronicle:Re, replaces the original JP version (which is being shut down), with player purchases from the original transferring to the new game.
A World in Ruins:
ETE Chronicle:Re plunges players into a chaotic future where humanity fights for survival. The Yggdrasil Corporation, utilizing technology derived from extraterrestrial remnants, created the Galar tactical exoskeleton and the Tenkyu orbital base, transforming Earth into a warzone.
The Humanity Alliance, comprised of survivors, counters with their E.T.E. combat machines, piloted by skilled female operatives. As an enforcer, you command these units, influencing both battles and the characters' destinies.
Dynamic Action Combat:
ETE Chronicle:Re features a fast-paced, half-real-time battle system demanding strategic thinking and quick reflexes. Commanding four characters, you must adapt constantly to enemy attacks.
Concerns remain regarding the reboot, with some citing repetitive gameplay and inflexible controls in the original. The previous version's fixed enemy distances and simultaneous party movement led to frustrating battles. Whether ETE Chronicle:Re addresses these issues remains to be seen.
Pre-register before August 18th for in-game rewards, with five lucky winners receiving a 2,000 yen Amazon gift certificate. Pre-registration is available on the official website and the Google Play Store.
