Etheria: Restart announced on Twitter (X) on April 21 that they are gearing up for a global livestream ahead of its final beta test. Set in a futuristic, sci-fi world, Etheria: Restart is an upcoming free-to-play hero RPG that features live arena battles. The game’s narrative revolves around humanity facing a catastrophic global freeze, leading to the upload of their minds into the digital sanctuary called Etheria, where they coexist with beings known as the Animus. However, a new threat emerges in the form of the Genesis Virus, which corrupts the Animus and turns them hostile.
As a Hyperlinker in the Hyperlinker Union, your mission is to combat this viral threat and uncover its origins to protect both the virtual realm and the remnants of real humanity. Etheria: Restart is built on Unreal Engine, offering stunning graphics and cinematic scenes. The gameplay combines strategic turn-based combat with real-time tactical control, and includes a competitive PvP arena. Additionally, the game features a gacha system where players can obtain new characters using Hydra Crystals, which can be earned in-game or purchased with real money.
Final Beta Test Starts May 8, 2025
The final beta test is set to begin on May 8, 2025, and will feature the Anisync Echoes and Phantom Theater trial challenges, along with real-time PvP (RTA) battles inspired by popular titles like Summoners War and Epic Seven. Cross-play functionality allows players on mobile and PC to compete in the real-time arena, assemble the ultimate squad for intense boss battles, and unlock new companions called "Shells."
