Whether you're conquering Tera Raids or climbing the ranked ladder in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, optimizing your Pokémon's stats is key. Simply leveling up through random battles won't cut it; you need strategic Effort Value (EV) training for peak performance. This guide focuses on efficiently farming Attack EVs.

Pokémon Center Area – North Province (Area Two)

A community favorite, this northeastern area (near Team Star's Fighting Crew base) is packed with Pokémon yielding pure Attack EVs: Lokix, Scyther, Bisharp, Heracross, Dratini, and Ursaring. Note that some Pokémon, like Falinks, offer mixed EV gains. For pure Attack EV maximization, consistent battles are essential.
Eastern Edge of Porto Marinada

For precise EV control, the eastern outskirts of Porto Marinada are ideal. Paldean Tauros here grant 2 Attack EVs each, boosted to 10 with a Power Bracer. This lets you quickly accumulate EVs and then remove the Bracer for fine-tuning.
How to Use the Power Bracer for EV Training
Before you start, equip the Power Bracer. This item, available at Delibird Presents (Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa) for 10,000 Pokédollars, adds +8 to the Attack EVs gained from each defeated Pokémon. This significantly accelerates training. Even Pokémon that yield EVs in other stats will grant an extra 8 Attack EVs.

Best Pokémon for EV Attack Training

Mass outbreaks offer the fastest EV gains, though they're unpredictable. Here are two excellent choices:
Flamigo

Common near lakes and swamps, Flamigo appear at various levels. Find lower-level ones in southeastern South Province lakes (near Grasswither Shrine) or higher-level ones at Casseroya Watchtower No. 1 (south of Casseroya Lake). Avoid level 9-20 Flamigo, as they might have the "Detect" ability.
Paldean Tauros

Found in central-western and central-eastern areas, Paldean Tauros usually appear in groups of five. Hunting south of Levincia is particularly efficient. Be aware that some have the "Intimidate" ability.
EV Attack Training Recommendations

Both Flamigo and Paldean Tauros are excellent, yielding 2 Attack EVs each (10 with the Power Bracer). Only 26 battles are needed to reach the 252 EV cap. Remember, use Paldean Tauros, not the regular Tauros (which only gives 1 EV). A "Tropical Sandwich" boosts Fighting-type Pokémon encounters.

Use Kelpsy Berries to reduce EVs if you overshoot the target. Efficient EV training requires patience and planning, but the results are well worth the effort.
