Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6: Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age Arrives October 23rd
HoYoverse has unveiled details for Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.6 update, titled "Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age," launching October 23rd. This update transports players to Penacony and its vibrant Paperfold University.
University Festivities and a New Ninja
Paperfold University is celebrating its anniversary and a new semester, brimming with student club activities, music, and academic events. The highlight is the introduction of Rappa, a new 5-star Galaxy Ranger character who also identifies as a ninja. Her gameplay revolves around ninjutsu, incorporating mantras, scrolls, graffiti, and rap elements.
Rappa's quest focuses on hunting down the villainous Evil Ninja Osaru. Her ultimate attack, Sealform Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, features a first-person perspective, allowing players to decimate enemies and significantly reduce their Toughness.
Version 2.6 Events and Updates
The "Sound Hunt Ninjutsu Inscription" event tasks players with managing a band for the Dreamlight Anniversary music party, collaborating with Rappa for a spectacular performance.
Returning limited 5-star characters Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, Acheron, and Aventurine will be available in the warp event during both halves of the update.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 also brings a substantial Simulated Universe update. Following the success of Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears, a larger-scale update, "The Unknowable Domain," is introduced as the third DLC.This DLC involves a massive void connected to post-Second Emperor's War conflicts among scholars over the Scepter system – a powerful external thinking unit composed of inorganic bionic neurons. Players must collect Scepters, upgrade them using Components, and leverage synergistic effects to defeat a challenging final boss.
