Ahmed Alameen, a writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title: a narrative-driven puzzle adventure steeped in Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior, a mystery further complicated by the revelation of a previously unknown sibling.
Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to complete his vision. The game features classic point-and-click mechanics, challenging you to piece together images, decipher codes, and explore beautifully rendered environments. Drawing inspiration from Myst, Heaven's Vault, and the chilling tales of H.P. Lovecraft, My Father Lied offers a unique blend of mystery and intrigue.
Employing a blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including meticulously crafted frame-by-frame cutscenes, Alameen achieved high-quality visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.
